Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026

FatPulse ("we", "us") operates fatpulse.com. This page explains what data we handle and the choices you have. The short version: your measurements and body details are processed on your own device and never leave your browser.

The tool this policy covers

FatPulse is a body fat percentage calculator that estimates body fat percentage from tape measurements using the US Navy method and from BMI, then places the result in a category and splits the reading into lean and fat mass. The Navy formula combines neck, waist, hip and height in a logarithmic equation, while the BMI method uses a simpler age-adjusted fit — showing both makes the gap between them visible instead of hiding it behind a single number. Everything below concerns that specific calculation and the values it involves, and nothing beyond it.

Practically, all the calculation needs is your measurements and body details. Typical reasons people open FatPulse include comparing the tape and BMI estimates side by side, and in every case the work happens on the visitor's own device rather than ours.

The inputs you provide

Every result here is produced by JavaScript running in your browser. Your inputs are used only to render the answer on the page: they are not transmitted to a server, stored, sold, or shared. The calculation needs nothing beyond what is already on the page — it simply the Navy formula combines neck.

How long data is kept, and how it is protected

Retention is close to a non-question here, because almost nothing personal is retained. What you enter lives in the tab; the site itself is served over TLS and maintained as needed.

Children

These tools are meant for a general audience and are not aimed at children under 13. We do not knowingly gather personal information from children; if you believe a child has provided some, contact us and we will remove it.

Your rights

Wherever you are, you can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or erased, and object to how it is used. Given how little FatPulse collects, the answer will usually be short, but the right stands.

How this policy changes

FatPulse revises this page whenever the way it handles data changes; the "last updated" line at the top always shows the current version.

Automatic technical data

Delivering a page necessarily produces some technical detail at the edge: an IP address, a browser string, the path requested and when. FatPulse uses that only to serve and protect the site. It is not stitched together with whatever you enter into the tool.

Advertising, cookies and your choices

The only cookie we set ourselves is a small preference flag for the consent notice. Advertising is served by third parties, and those partners may place their own cookies to tailor the ads you see. You can refuse or clear them in your browser without losing any functionality — the tool itself has no dependency on cookies.

How we measure usage

Analytics on fatpulse.com are limited to counting: visits, a rough location and which tools are opened. The figures are aggregated rather than tied to a person, and none of them carries what you typed.

Health-related inputs

Figures such as weight, height, age, body-fat percentage or calorie targets can be sensitive. On this site they are treated as ordinary input: they stay in the browser tab and are never sent anywhere. If you clear the page, they are gone.
